Right in the heart of Newberry is a nice little place called Villaggio's. It is an amazing Italian restaurant, with a friendly staff. They offer dine in or pick up. The dining room is small, but still feels cozy. Picking food up is always easy. The food is always on time and hot. They sell pizza by the slice, which is great for people wanting something quick. The slices are huge too. They have pretty awesome lunch specials as well. Today I had a slice of pizza, and a side salad with Italian dressing. The pizza was good as always, and the salad was awesome. The lettuce, onions, and cucumber all looked very fresh. The salad was well balanced, with the perfect amount of everything. In the past I had gotten their hot subs. They are excellent, and worth the price because they are 12 inches. The ones with cheese, such as the meatball sub, are superb. Lots of sauce, and melted cheese to satisfy anyone. The lasagna is amazing too. Nice portion that comes with bread. They also have garlic knots. They are good, but a bit too greasy for me. All in all this place is worth checking out!
